Our running thread got anchored so let's start a 2026 thread.

- Post your pickups
- Post items you have that you might need help valuing
- General sports card/Pokémon/memorabilia talk

Was at the Shreveport card show 1/3-1/4 and picked up some holy grail cards. 2026 is off to a great start...

tGOAT rookie card

Low pop rare 90's MJ

Rare 90's Kobe RC

LeBron RC refractor. Little over 2K right now but I think this card will reach 5K relatively soon. His rookies are going to explode. Snatching up as many as I can.

Not a signed baseball guy but came across a few nice ones that I'll most likely sell or trade.

Was able to upgrade two of my Jackies from a 1 to a 2.

Let's see those hitties!

I have 2 Roger Staubach rookie cards in good condition not graded but look similar to this. What do you think they're worth?

It costs like $50 just to get those cards graded!

$42 ungraded. Psa 8 goes for 2k. A 10 goes for 25k

Card Ladder has a 72 Staubach PSA 8 at $2417 market value.

PSA 7: 800
PSA 6: 260

I usually tell people if they have a vintage card like that that they think looks clean, expect it to grade about a 6, be happy if it comes back a 7, and don't expect an 8. And don't be surprised if it's a 4 or 5

If you have pictures of them I/we could probably give you a better estimate of what it might grade. I grade a good bit, I'm sending off 22 cards today.

Still on the fence about completing my 1955 - 1959 Topps sets.

I'm about 50-75% complete on them with an average grade of 5-6. Have a bunch of dupes and some Bowmans and 52-54, 60 Topps as well.

I love those old artwork cards but damn, they're expensive. Still kicking myself for selling off half my collection for $4k 15 years ago when I was unemployed and desperate for cash. Dude that bought them made out like a bandit.

Yea if you don't have the big names, those will get pricey to complete for sure. The non graded common players you can pick up pretty cheap though. I'd sell my dupes that are in worse condition and use that money to help finish the set.

Alright we got an accidental anchor by a chicken, but we’re back.

Haven’t gotten it in yet but had to post this nuke I traded for on Veriswap. Goldin auction level stuff.

I gave up...

03 Topps Pristine LeBron RC PSA 10
86 Fleer Jordan sticker RC PSA 5
98 Sage Kobe auto /50 PSA 7

He had the Lebron/Melo auto valued at $5,500 which I think was very low. It sold at Goldin in 2022 for 4k. Lebron prices have more than doubled since then.

I’ve started getting my dad auto baseballs for birthdays or Christmas because….. what the hell do I get a man who can get what he wants when he wants? So far he has a Bob Gibson, Stan Musial, Dylan crews, and a Barry Larkin ( worked with his aunt.

This year I’m going for a Paul Skenes and a Jay Johnson signed to him.

That's a pretty great idea.

I collected balls for a little bit but probably going to start selling mine to fund more cards
