Mexico gets a large part of its GDP bucks from remittances from the US and a large part of it passes through the social welfare system. That may be a problem for the beloved President of Mexico.

The Spanish folks may be pissed off at Minnesota Somalies and democrats

If you aren’t a citizen, you should not be getting welfare from the government of any kind.

This is great - but how will it be enforced?

Would almost rather tax all out-of-country remittances at 50% and be done with it.

Force the transfer to have an IRS return current matching up remittances to welfare payments
