The roster needs a big body running back.. thick and powerful.
Kiffin's offense has rushed for more yards than anyone in the conference. The past few years.

I would love another Jeremy Hill style back, Spencer Ware was a fun one to watch as well. Ware would just grind defenses to a pulp.

If Kirby wants him, then he’s good in my book! One thing UGA has had since Kirby has been there is running backs galore that could start for any team in the country 3deep.

Yep.. Those type of backs have been missing for years..
When you have the ball at the 10 yd line and trying to push it through
A big back is needed.

How many 235 lb RBs has he had?
You realize this isn’t 1996, huh

LSU was so spoiled for like 20 years, that we thought these physical specimens were always gonna be here. I would say things are looking up but our RB room hasn't been what it used to be.
The game is changing though, those bruisers that are over 220 rarely have breakaway speed unless your fournette, Hill, Alley Broussard, Price, and a few others.
Those types of backs usually struggle running zone or stretch plays which RB have multiple different holes they can pick based off of alignment and the flow of the edge guys and backers. Vision is a requirement, super quick short area, and the ability to time things are critical.

Not sure I can think of any Kiffin RBs since he got to Ole Miss that weren’t shifty. I think that’s intentional. Don’t know a thing about Roderick Robinson, but his size doesn’t scream good fit to me. Not to say I don’t see the use for it. the redzone woes last year make me yearn for these type of guys.

Remember when Ware hit that guy from Miss St and it looked like he killed him?

because actual "mass", in a vaccum, has actually become a detrimental trait to modern RBs.
To be a large, successful modern RB, you have to be a freak like Derrick Henry, Saquan, Jonathan Taylor.

LSU definitely needs a 2 yards to go RB. We don't have any on the roster.

Until he didn’t, Ware wore out, FACT…

Ware got too fat at lsu. Being big is mostly worthless as a RB.
He trimmed up and had a nice little nfl career
