Posted on 1/10/26 at 2:09 pm
QB: Drew Brees - 2018
RB: Alvin Kamara - 2020
FB: Mike Karney - 2006
WR: Chris Olave - 2025
TE: Jimmy Graham - 2013
OT: Ryan Ramczyk - 2020
OG: Jahri Evans - 2013
OC: never
DE: Cam Jordan - 2019
DT: La'Roi Glover - 2000
LB: Demario Davis - 2023
CB: Dave Waymer - 1987
S: Malcolm Jenkins - 2010
K: Morten Andersen - 1992
P: Thomas Morstead - 2012
KR: Rashid Shaheed - 2023
ST: JT Gray - 2024
I guess I don't pay attention much to AP teams because I could've sworn Lattimore and McCoy were All-Pro their rookie years but I guess not.
The only Saints Center to get any award was Erik McCoy in 2019 when he was named to the writers All-Rookie team.
Lattimore made PFWA's ALL NFC team twice, but no All-pro selections.
According to Neworleanssaints.com, Fred Thomas was a first-team All-Pro by Sports Illustrated but I cannot find a single other source that backs that up.

after growing up watching the later Mora and the Ditka years, I thought Ashley Ambrose and Fred Thomas were elite NFL corners.

Ashley Ambrose in 1999 defended 22 passes, 6 INTs, recovered 2 fumbles and made 57 tackles.
Didn't even make the Pro Bowl.

so I wanted to see what franchises also had a gap on their all-pro team like we had at center and what teams had a longer gap at a position than 1987. Found some fun info.
Never had an all-pro:
QB: Texans and Jaguars
RB: Patriots
WR: Ravens
TE: Bills, Texans, Vikings, Steelers, Seahawks, Bucs
OT: Steelers
OG: Texans, Jaguars, Bucs
C: Ravens, Bengals, Texans, Jaguars, Chargers, Saints, Bucs
DE: Ravens, Patriots
DT:
LB:
CB:
S: Panthers, Texans
K/P: Texans
3 Longest gaps without an all-pro at each position (excluding above):
QB: Bears (1950), Lions (1956), Giants (1963)
RB: Bengals (1989), Bears (1990), Broncos/Lions (1998)
WR: Titans (1991), Chargers (1996), Jaguars (1999)
TE: Packers (1963), Bears (1966), Commanders (1969)
OT: Raiders (1978), Jets (1982), Colts (1989)
OG: Lions (1955), Bengals (1989), Dolphins (1994)
C: 49ers (1973), Commanders (1975), Cardinals (1977)
DE: Commanders (1991), Titans (1999), Chargers (2001)
DT: Packers (1966), Commanders (1984), Bears (1988)
LB: Falcons (1998), Giants (2000), Browns (2001)
CB: Colts (1968), Saints (1987), Steelers (1994)
S: Dolphins (1975), Rams (1983), Jaguars (1999)
K/P: Packers (1993), Falcons (1995), Panthers (1996)

DT: La'Roi Glover - 2000
Yes, I was a fan long before, going into the late 70's. But I have various stars layered into timeframes, and I always thought of Glover as one of the "newer" guys. And now, I'm confronted with the fact-- that's 25 yrs ago.
