We trying to get the deal done before he leaves? He’s been here since Friday night…

You know how I know Lane is still working because he isn't tweeting. Hopefully we get one more tonight

Clark + Longstreet is a good duo although I was hoping for Leavitt/Clark

I'm thinking I'd probably rather Leavitt based on experience and he's been a playoff QB already. You have Clark with 3 years. Got Houston coming in 27, but who knows we may have fricked ourselves in the Leavitt dept

If leavitt was in the bag as has been suggested, no chance Longstreet is still visiting lsu

Im kind of over Leavitt. I hope he ends up at Nebraska. He deserves their cold winters with nothing but corn to look at.

Leavitt needs to give us decision within next 24 hours. If he is a no, then Longstreet. We won't get both

If Leavitt is going to LSU,They're not going to let Leavitt announce until Longstreet leaves. Otherwise it will be Longstreet.

I am sure Longstreet wants Leavitt's answer ASAP

Exactly, we’re gonna miss out waiting on his dramatic arse.

Can't believe I'm agreeing with you again.......we may be on to something Josh336

Do what you need to do Longstreet. Don’t worry about Leavitt.

Talked to him earlier things are looking good

I think it's easy for Lane to be honest here. Lane can say we have been recruiting and offered Leavitt before Longstreet went in portal, so we have to hear his answer. "It is either him or you, nobody else."

They aren't relevant to each other. If Longstreet signs, Leavitt isn't going to come here to compete, they both know that.

If it's Longstreet there will be a massive QB competition this spring between him and Clark.

I don't think we take Longstreet's commitment without Leavitt's answer. But I could be wrong on that

i'd rather have longstreet - dude seems like a competitor - read up on his high school coach reviews - first one in last one out, gets there at usc an hour before 6am work out to have additional work out and study playbook - as les miles would say he has 'the want'

Leavitt is a diva that may not be 100% healthy until the season starts. I’ll take the QB with the bigger upside

I’m excited for whichever one Lane chooses to work with.
Both have some big time potential, and if Longstreet comes in and wins the job as a RS FR we have him for at least 2 years.
Leavitts proven. Injured? Yes, but if Lane says he’s his guy, I fully support it
