What? You do realize that they see themselves as saviors of minority groups. They make it about race, so yes, it's about race.
You never see a group of blacks, Hispanics, etc, banding together to help white people. In fact, black people were quick to tell people not to use 'rest in power' for Renee Good because that was reserved for black people. These white people with a saviour complex are trying to save people who wouldn't piss on them if they were on fire.

Black Mountain used to be a great area. Boomers have been slowly pricing locals/middle class out for years and the hurricane finished them off. Everything around there now is corporate slop disguised as eclectic and artsy.
