WTI crude was down slightly in early Monday trade, slipping 37 cents to $58.75 per barrel, slightly higher than last Monday’s $57.89 per barrel fetch. Brent crude oil was also down marginally in early trade, posting a 27-cent drop to $63.07 per barrel, up from $61.30 last Monday. Meanwhile, investment bank Goldman Sachs predicted oil prices would struggle this year as a wave of supply creates a market surplus, maintaining its 2026 average price of $50-$54 for WTI crude.

Crawfish prices are so fricked this season, and if oil prices fall much further, demand to ship them things to baws out in Midland-Odessa might fall too.

The Shell across from Greenway Plaza was still $3+ for Regular last week. Of course, for some reason, that location seems to charge far and above the rest of the Houston stations. Even the Shell just a couple blocks down is usually 30 cents/gallon cheaper than that one at 59 & Buffalo Speedway.

Any gas station around River oaks tries to capture the rich market that doesn’t pay attention to price

Shell on San Felipe and willowick will be a $1 higher than others

I must say...not a bad strategy.

The beer at the Greenway Plaza Chevron is normally priced up pretty good. Think they charge something like $12.99 for a 6-er of Art Cars while HEB charges $8.99.
