- Nima Yamini's video post draws a parallel between global outrage over Jeffrey Epstein's child sex trafficking network and the relative silence on documented sexual abuse of girls in Iran by regime-linked clerics and security forces, urging viewers to demand justice and criticizing media and activists for inaction.
- Human Rights Watch and Amnesty International reports substantiate claims of systemic child abuse in Iran, including rape and torture by authorities during protests since 2022, with over 500 children killed or detained, though enforcement remains limited due to theocratic control.

Iran is on the front page of CNN.com
But if this is about sexual assault in Iran vs sexual assault by the President and/or assorted rich AHs, which do you think would get all the press?

Yea it’s been obvious that Epstein gets the interest it does because of the ‘celebrities’ involved.
Lots of stuff just as bad or worse doesn’t get the same press because it doesn’t involve famous people, which is kinda the point of the thread. People seem to care more about the celebrities and drama, than they do about the victims.

are you doing a whataboutism with pedophiles?
what are you suggesting? should i take your silence on every other sex trafficker around the globe as an endorsement?

Those Iranian clerics are dirtbags and evil.
So are the extreme wealthy and powerful that participated in whatever Epstein was doing.
They should all pay.

Not as many "celebrities" like a lot of you people think.. same be as Diddy. All made up internet bullshite - by the way, I can't stand celebrities so don't think I am sticking up for them.

I’ve always been in favor of well planned, low risk, just and effective foreign intervention.

Either we will police the world or China will. Make your choice, but be prepared for the outcome you might not like. This is just the way it is. No one is saying send the 10th mountain into Iran, it is simply convenient and easy at this particular moment to sweep the regime to the dustbin of history where it belongs

China doesn't police they just do business with who ever is in power. They have been out smarting us since the day Kissenger showed up. They started the silk road project and we started a 20yr war in Iraq. You think Iran will go any different then afganistan or Iraq? If Biden was in office this board's opinion would be so different.
