Below are a some photos taken over the last couple months up in Wyoming, and down here in Louisiana. More can be found at my website, however some of these aren't added yet, but will hopefully have them soon.

oh nice you caught the goth heron.

I think my favorite out of these is the possum. I love those goofy arse critters.

Awesome shots, I get excited when I see that you posted a new thread of photos.

You wouldn’t believe the controversy the bird caused.

I've been seeing some of it in the FB bird groups. Did they ever figure out how it died?

Nothing has been released. I watched it for several hours the day before it was found dead and it appeared healthy and not in any distress. It kept crossing a somewhat busy road, and we blocked traffic a few times so that it wouldn’t get hit by a car. My guess is that it crossed the road in the late evening or early morning and was hit by a car.

One of the people found it thinks it was hit also, but every internet keyboard expert thinks it was killed by the substance on it.

Kingfisher is my favorite.

I took some in Bend OR with my iPhone. My photos can’t hold a candle to yours.

I thought it was a Pygmy.

But one classy gentleman on this very board identified it for me.

Thanks again.

Yes. Found it under a Ponderosa Pine tree that I was sent to cut down.

It looked like a dog or cat got to it. Breast is chewed up.

Very nice photos as always. I appreciate you taking the time to talk to me about my future trip to Yellowstone and the great information about things to see. Excited to get some pictures of wildlife other than ducks.

I know how you feel. I get burnt out in photographing birds down here.
