This is a very strange feeling: No stress about LSU football.

I knew that it took time for Kiffin to work his voodoo portal magic. Every year at Ole Miss, he was deliberate in his selections. Never hurried.
I figured that good things would happen if we waited.
We have two terrific QBs. We have talent stacked on stacks at all of the skill positions.
We made some terrific choices on defense. Three OL in the barn with more on the way.
I'm not hitting the refresh button. I'm not worried.
Haven't had this feeling for a long time.
Life is good.

We are not stressed and not pissed off at the present time. Nice feeling for January in a year when we can’t be in the playoffs.

That is what competent leadership brings you. Organization, confidence, and calm.
It also helps if the head coach is capable of locking up one side of the ball and not a CEO type who relies a lot on the coordinator hire.

it had been more apathy (under BK) than stress but regardless

We have a Killer for a coach.
And he’s got something to prove.

I’m just glad that Nuss is gone. I know plenty of y’all love him but I cringed every time he had the ball. It’s over finally.

If you are stressing out about a sports team; you need to reevaluate your life priorities and maybe even seek psychological help

I was excited last enter at this time as well. More weapons for Nuss and huge adds on the defense. It didn’t pan out. Excited too for this year with a new scheme and great adds in the portal. Would still like to see a couple OL adds, but very optimistic.

Legit question, how did you feel going into this past season?

If we’re trailing against Clemson, god have mercy on chicken and the servers

I have 6 kids to feed and bills to pay, kids playing a game have never stressed me out.

Reevaluate yourself. It’s enlightening and better

Not only am I not stressed, I don’t think I’ve ever been this excited this early for football season to start.
September 5th is going to be fun, the tailgate will definitely be started at 7AM, maybe sooner.

You literally said you'd throw hands for an anonymous poster you were defending, just yesterday.
May need to reevaluate your priorities.

When he went to Ole Miss he also had to build the brand.
LSU already has a brand. Did it take a hit after 2019? Sure but we were still able to recruit very well and have had some success.
Ole Miss has never been a great program so he has to build everything.
The foundation was built here, just needed a ton of cleaning up.
