If tweet fails to load, click here. The Council on American Islamic Relations helped Somalians file a lawsuit against the plant for workers being fired for leaving work and got them a huge payout
This is where all the American jobs went, to cheap imported illegal foreign labor
“We are now in Fort Morgan, Colorado, at the Cargill Meat Factory, where 20 to 30% of their Workforce is Somalian. They actually have prayer rooms inside since 2009.
In 2015, a group of 200 Somalians were fired because they kept leaving the production line.
This was against USDA's regulation of needing a continuous production in order to not have contamination within
But this group of Somalians decided to sue for discrimination and this company ended up settling the lawsuit with $1.5 million in payouts to 138 people. The Council on American Islamic Relations helped them file this lawsuit, which to me sounds completely insane because they were trying to have 11 people leave the production line. All at once.
— Fort Morgan is the town in Colorado with the highest amount of Somalians living in it.”

I guess it’s safe to say wherever the skinny’s are there’s government corruption.

Yep. Colorado is just AA team for California.

Both state and federal law require reasonable religious accomodations. These folks wanted a short break to make the routine, scheduled prayers required by their religious beliefs, and Cargill refused to give them their breaks on that schedule.
Of course Cargill got sued. Nothing "corrupt" about it.

Stopping line continuity and introducing the possibility of contamination strains "reasonable" I would think.

Interesting how the EEOC doesn't catch hell for recalled food products.

I got downvoted by a bunch of Ag losers when I suggested that Cargill and other huge Ag corps (ADM, Tyson, Lamb Weston, CHS, etc.) were the ones ruining that sector in our economy in a thread about tariffs.

Didn’t Boar’s Head have an issue in 2024 with unsafe plants and personnel?

The EEOC disagreed with you.

The workers filed complaints with the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC), alleging the company fired them wrongfully, and revoked a policy that allowed them to take breaks in order to pray during their shifts. In a press release, the EEOC said it found “reasonable cause to believe” those allegations.

reasonable
And the EEOC agreed that short prayer breaks were "reasonable."
It is hilarious watching you little Trumpists stomp your feet and deny reality.

Hank, you really are a shite human being. First you supported mutilating children, now are you are supporting a group of people that hate this country.
Keep exposing yourself (just not to children).
