I mean, that’s her claim, but it certainly goes against years of long-standing practice. It’s not an issue the Supreme Court directly heard

I hate that this is true, but it is. Several years ago, I used to watch Trey "For Pay" Gowdy in these hearings and I was impressed by him. He even ripped Hillary Clinton a new one, which I enjoyed very much.
But, it didn't take me long to figure out that it was nothing but a dog-and-pony show. Much like what Senator John Kennedy does now.
And then, of course, I figured out that Gowdy was tied at the hip to Kevin McCarthy and every bit as much of a Swamp Rat.

Well sure, that is her interpretation until told different from a higher court. She will not be given this judgement so she is going on with her interpretation.

Trey Gowdy is as useless as tits on a boar hog. If I see Trey Gowdy commentating on a subject I automatically tune him out.
