I realize O-Line was bad last year but having Nuss with limited mobility and injury and not wanting to run because of both added even more pressure to the O-Line. Under the new circumstances with Levitt with next level mobility when the line breaks down, factoring also having to guard against the run, Scheme, and Play Calling, the line will be grossly be improved even if the players are not on paper technically better.

Youre going to have a hard time selling that theory to this crowd.

They both go hand in hand.

I.E.
A pass rush gets qbs to rush throwing the ball and DBs get better stats.

DBs also cover WR right and the qb holds the ball longer for sacks.

So, a good old line and an opportunistic running quarterback will make each other look good.

The scheme is to not need an OLine

Is there a chance that any of our current O-Lineman in the portal could return to the fold? Maybe they have all signed somewhere else already. Not really sure, as I haven't been able to follow it that closely.

I think this is a massive oversimplification. Of course a mobile QB can help, but I saw multiple times last year we would have edge rushers coming off the snap without anyone touching them multiple plays in a row.

Could Nuss have played better, sure, but that was one of the worst offensive line units I’ve ever seen in major college football.

People don’t realize just how bad Nuss’s mobility was. Was some of the worst shittt I’ve ever seen

The 2019 O Line wasn’t even that good but they won the best o line award mainly because of Burrow’s mobility

i think we need to reasses that

Lewis and Cushenberry are career starters in the NFL

Charles was playing a lot before he randomly retired for a year

Deculus is on a team as a backup.

That being said, Joe made them look way better than they were.

Sound line play and a workable scheme that fits the talent of the available is more important than a mobile QB. Ask Archie Manning how it felt playing for the Saints.
