Looking for recommendation's for the most thorough home inspector in South LA. Buying a recently foreclosed home and need to make sure there isn't anything underlying. Located in Houma. Thanks.

Morrell inspection did ours in Thibodaux when we bought our house and would recommend him to anyone. Very knowledgeable. Walked me through the house and talked me through every little thing, including items that he wasn’t adding to the report and why, borderline items and why, and little things he did add because they can be a sign of a bigger problem.

I’d hire experts in the 3 majors: HVAC, plumbing and electrical. Roofing if you want. My experience with inspectors is sub par.

If there's a walk in shower, make sure the inspector does a 24 hour flood test to make sure the shower pan isn't leaking. I learned about this the hard way.
