Those upside down font hats are the dumbest thing I've ever seen.... but they have given away some cool shite. The sweatshirts they gave away long ago were a throwback style id prob pay $80 for...
I remember one time when I was a student we played Xavier in a HUGE game.... we got towels....sponsored by raisin canes.

All we got back in the day was some tobasco or McDonald’s sponsored shirts and yellow pompom. This is wild.

Yeah, I think either last season or sometime this season they were giving out Nike hoodies; based on the LSU Basketball X account; last home game I think they got Sailor Mike t-shirts.
A massive jump from the rough, thin, Gildan t-shirts that were 75% McDonalds ads. Though the bobble heads during the Johnny Jones days were a solid promo.
eta: How could I forget access to the Student tent outside the concourse where you could get some mushy pastalaya and a can of coke (that you couldn't leave with).

There's stupid effort new players every year getting paid and doing zero work as a student. And u want fans to feel connected to them in some weird way, that they'll overpay for a bad product with overly inflated seating and concession pricing?
I cannot even begin to imagine taking my son to a game at this point. Why? Im not supporting LSU. Id be supporting some loser that will leave tomorrow for $1 more.

At least those dumbass oversized hats are worn with the intention of being goofy. The upside down font is the current "fashion" trend with hats that kids are passing off as cool. Just so stupid.
