I don't think we have the entire starting five on the roster yet. And I doubt LSU spends $4 million on a tackle. But there are some good ones who recently jumped in the portal. Hopefully we have 2-3 more OLinemen on the roster by Monday

These coaches have an eye for detail and talent. Need to put that into action and scour the portal for coachable talented players. Obviously we need blockers who can protect the QB and hold blocks long enough to create a hole a running back can get through. Talent and technique is necessity for sure but even more important is playing with the right attitude. Got to have a guy who is mad at them and wants to get into it with the opponent. Lot of O line play is attitude and want. Mean and mad goes a long way at this position..

We are nowhere close done taking offensive linemen right now so nobody knows

Davis is very very likely a starter. I dont see him not being one. The pass blocking improved to elite level by end of this season, he couldnt run block but basically nobody really did on our OLine so a new OL coach will help there. They did A LOT to try and keep him here, so I doubt he is replaced.
