If tweet fails to load, click here. Sick of the two-faced lying this program is doing trying to salvage any shred of relevance they have.
We better hang 100 on them. Send them back to the cellar where they belong.

Word salad to say Ole Miss has their panties in a bunch and is trying to overpay to keep him to avoid getting embarrassed nationally by letting him walk after trying to enforce him to stay.
Fluid situation.

It sounded so ominous!
And it is Ole Miss, they have never had any issues chaining up their employees and forcing them to work

They are trying to talk him into staying with more money, but this is the school that only offered 30% of what LSU did. That’s his value to Ole Miss

The wording sounds like Princewill is willing to take any route to leave playoff Petey and the boys

Can someone explain how this is different than the Demond situation?

His buyout is significantly cheaper.
Posted on 1/16/26 at 7:35 pm to TigerYac
Demons destination would have had to buyout his $ 4 mm contract. Princewells buyout is 300k and lsu is willing to pay that
Posted on 1/16/26 at 7:36 pm to TigerYac
The buyout of Demond was 3 million. The buyout of this guy is 300K or 10% of that. If LSU pays the buyout his contract is fulfilled and he is free to go. Nobody wanted to pay 3 million for Demond.

At this point, as a player I don’t know if u stay even if they offered you more. You know the team will regress possibly greatly next year and you will get paid well at another school and he will be an NFL guy so doesn’t have to necessarily get ALL he can now like some of these kids do
Posted on 1/16/26 at 7:36 pm to TigerMonkey7
Is that the only thing that would need to be taken care of?
Posted on 1/16/26 at 7:37 pm to TigerYac
It would fulfill his contract with Ole Miss and they would have no choice but to let him go.

Problem is ole piss thinks this is 1864 lol they think they own these players . The rebel blood runs deep in them

$600,000 is just the starting point.
-$300,000 to Ole Miss
-$300,000 from LSU NIL pool next year
Then the salary for the player….
