For the first time in 50 years we had net negative migration last year and the deficit actually went down although only an extremely small amount.
Certainly these are good things and steps in the right direction worthy of praise, no?

Oh I agree.
I just think people like to shite on him a lot but I rarely see him get that level of praise for things

I am not sure if you are aware of this or not, but Trump was elected for a 4 (Four) year term and not an 11 (eleven) month term
What he has accomplished in 11 months has been astounding and almost impossible to believe
These next three years are going to be incredible!

Yeah but someone gave him a Nobel peace prize award so we should be upset at him apparently.

Especially when we are finally getting that cheap oil from our recent bit of imperialism in South America.
Gas prices are 2.10 where I live in south GA and they were usually around 4.20 or higher under Biden. Can that mad bastard get it down to 1!

He’s been amazing at almost all the issues and actions he has taken. There has been dreadful messaging at times but he’s done an insanely good job imo.
They’re loooking at a solid shot at midterms too. It’s impossible for the left to take the senate and right now I have only 17 seats contested with each party tied in my outlook. This is tremendously better than usual and the more leftist shock troops attack officers the less the country likes the left is what tracking I’m seeing says

No frustration with any of these things. Frustration comes from his tip toeing around the tech H1B issue.
For all the good he's done (and its finally starting to stack up) he still has failed to do a few main things on the top of the mandate list:
SAVE Act
H1B Removal
Marginal Grade on Housing (im willing to give him a better grade though as recently proposals are helping to turn this around).

People are so use to folling betas, they dont even know how to follow or handle a true alpha. Sad that America has become such wimps. This if anytime is the time to show some muscle to the world and you have the guy in office to do it and people are scared
Pathetic

I do agree somewhat.
It’s like people think everything was always going to be a fully smooth ride from here to the end. Even with all the good that’s been done when one minor thing happens they go absolute bat shite.
Not to mention it’s nearly an open secret now Venezuela was heavily involved in our elections and I’ve heard it said grand jury’s have already been impaneled based on things given up. 2026 is the year of the happening.

Thanks for the high brow commentary as usual.
Care to comment on either of the two main components of my OP or just want to cope and seethe until your wife is done with her boyfriend?

Need to work on property inflation and insurance rates across the spectrum.
Gas prices are way down and my company gave me two significant and long overdue raises, and then my mortgage escrow more than doubles because of property value tax and insurance increases. 35% fricking mortgage payment increase, and there goes all the new income i was receiving from pay increases and no tax on overtime. And that's with a fixed rate of 3.8% because I bought at the perfect time.
I should feel blessed that I'm breaking even when so many people are falling behind, but I'm pissed. I've worked to fricking hard and for too many decades to just keep "breaking even" when I was finally getting ahead.
I love most of what Trump is doing, but Congress won't let him actually address the issues of Average Americans unless the benefit to themselves is far greater.

This thread wasn’t to imply he is perfect he isn’t and has messed up things, just to give him some credit for once

Cool. Orange needs to return to pre covid spending levels and start working on grocery prices. Trump spends at the same level as Obama and Biden. We don’t have a revenue problem we have a spending problem.

I think the only one's complaining are liberals who pretend they were Trump supporters because they think it means more to say 'Look, I voted for Trump 3 times, but now......." or people who had unrealistic expectations.
