Anyone remember that gem from BK?
Well, Lane disagrees.

Hated that line. It was such a cop out.

I’m glad BK is gone, but I don’t think he said that in January

Saying that at LSU is a ridiculous thing to say

In context, no it isn’t. He said this during the season. At that point, for every single coach, that’s a factual statement. In college football, there is no waiver wire. Once the season starts, you’re stuck with the guys you have. Where BK was wrong, and what the Oap is alluding to, is that BK had more power over the roster than he chose. Or, possibly more accurately, he either didn’t do a good job of evaluating, or his staff couldn’t coach….or potentially a combination of both.

LOL I forget if it was Clemson or Florida game but BK had a legendary post game interview with the on field reporter...when asked about the teams offense woes and were the tigers looking to make the next step on offense he basically said, " Certainly.Certainly. but maybe not, this just might be who we are!
I watched in astonishment.

That was true. Since then people have stepped up giving. Then the allocation was likely changed on how anIL was distributed. Year on year this NIL stuff is in a constant state of flux. Revenue share just started.
