Line his pockets and lead everyone on. I was all for him and so excited about the possibility of him anchoring the line at LSU and stabilizing the guys up front. But this has drawn on far too long.
I can’t tell if he’s just trying to make the best decision, or if he is just trying to get an incredible sum of meeting money, free flights, wining and dining, attention, rubbing elbows with a governor, and just play for the highest bidder
I want to think the best of the kid, but man this is a lot. Glad every great player does not do this ??
What say you?

If he's getting $1,000,000 more dollars (or more) due to "shopping around" to play 1 year of college football, I'd say it's probably worth it

This thread definitely needed to be created.

Don't be a pussy. It's a negotiation.

You are crazy if you wouldn’t so the same thing.

With the money we are potentially spending on Seaton at this point I'm willing to entertain buying out Will Wade at the end of the basketball season instead.

Anyone that cares about money is wise to shop around.
Beleive me, we are offering what we want and hope he agrees.
However we may end up offering two OT for only 100k and they end up making more sense.
Who knows.

If he can't enroll in the spring and practice with the team, his value is worth far less. I think that wasn't considered by his uncle

What I don't understand is the negotiation timeline. Doesn't Seaton have to be enrolled in school by now to be eligible to play in the fall?

Good point.

The worst thing a school will do, is to say no. So, keep asking and get a new “last offer”.

I think he is doing this delay tactic to upset LSU fans on The Rant.

I say our class is so good I don’t even give a F anymore. I’m chilling after Prince. If he comes he comes. I’m past refreshing the page every five mins or worrying about it.

I believe, Mr. CHICKEN said, they could enroll the 1st of March and take accelerated classes.

Why do yall care so much and count somebody else's pockets? Seaton will be a 1st Round pick regardless where he lands.
We not talking about a kid that has no NFL future and trying to milk the college game as much as possible.
The only thing that matters is the conversations between Seaton and Kiffin.

He's the #1 OT. Did you think he was just going to commit at the first deal? He's a kid that didn't come from generational wealth; he's trying to break that cycle. I respect his decisions to get as much money as a school will pay him. Last, I check, he didn't create NIL, so pouting and blaming his uncle, it's just dumb especially when you know nothing about the situation.

If the time period has passed for him to enroll and participate in spring practice, then I think he has taken it too far.

I’d say I hope he gets all he can.
Man you motherfrickers are psychotic.
I say in another thread frick him and get chastised and then I say the opposite and get downvoted. Which is it?
