Everyone knows these agitators are getting paid. Why not announce to the protestors the opportunity to triple their income for the next month if they are willing to stay home? What a nice database of professional protestors the government could acquire.

Because that would shift the supply curve up and result in far more protestors and much more money.

Better yet, instead of relying on local law enforcement in Democrat city and states, bring in more federal law enforcement personnel to secure a perimeter around ICE operations to keep the protesters from interfering.

This only has to be done in locations were local and state law enforcement is instructed to stand down.
