How often do you gamble on sports or at the casino?

With the Super Bowl approaching, are you placing a bet on the game outside of choosing a square?
I was talking with a buddy today about his trips to the casino. We don't have one in-state but they're a relatively short drive away. Sports betting apps aren't legal in this state. I've never gambled much. On the rare occasion I find myself at a casino, I might play roulette and bet on a color. Maybe throw some dice.
Anyways, my friend was talking about max betting on slot machines and how he won $1500 from $100 in bets the other day. I was asking about his lifetime total and he mentioned it was majorly in the loss column.
The casinos send him ads in the mail I was looking at with free all you can eat buffet coupons "featuring crab legs" and other coupons for $50 a week in free house money. He said he gets free concert tickets and hotel rooms comped every time.
The drinks aren't free anymore he said. But he said everything else is and I quote "a free-for-all."
All that to say that I'm thinking I might take me a little trip up to the casino one of these days, but it seems like something that can spiral downward very quickly.

Never on sports only a handful of times at a casino.
I’d rather set my money on fire than go to a casino.

Zero. I think gambling on sports is a gateway to loserville. Seen too many young folks get too deep into shite.

I can bet from my phone. I only go to the casino for blackjack.

Save your money and gamble at the biggest casino in the world were you have better odds.
The stock market.

My rich aunt from North Dallas took me into a high stakes slot room with $100+ slot machines. She was max betting on three machines at a time. I started sweating. Couldn’t get out of there fast enough. Gambling isn’t for me.

Rarely. Not worth the trip and the Landmass doesn't have mobile betting.
I did want to take the over on Saints wins, and fade the Steelers against the Browns, but never got around to it.

I was coming to post this almost word for word. I can bet sports from my couch. If I'm going to the casino it's to play table games and drink. Craps, blackjack and roulette.

I bet a handful of times during cfb season to keep slow weekends interesting(insignificant money). Only bet in the casino during a Vegas trip over the last twenty years.

I’ve gambled only four times at the casino, all for my birthday after 40; all poker. I moneyed twice out of three tournaments and won $750 playing 1/3 cash NLH the other day. I don’t like being in casinos, but I play a lot of online poker for free.

I do during football season, but not at all the amount I used to. As in, I put $50 in my draftkings account in Week 0 of the CFB season. I was $300 and some change at one point and after the bowl games I had $10 left. I also bet on NFL, 2 games a week. I put $25 in two weeks to have $35. I'll bet on the coin toss for the super bowl.. Just something I do for shits and giggles, and New England to cover. Then whatever I have from that will be what I use during march madness.
Casinos, I haven't been to a casino is several years, but I do like the craps table.

I'm on Draftkings all the time. This was from Saturday night off two $10 bets.

I rarely place sports bets but do put a couple hundred on LSU to win the CWS before the season starts
I am in the positive only because of this
I don’t enjoy anything about a casino, at least the ones in BR

I'm not stupid or wasteful with my money so neither.

We might go to the casino 1-2 times a year, and usually only when it’s a work thing for one of me or the wife. Gamble a bit, throw away a few hundred and leave remembering why we don’t make it a regular thing
