The Artful Dodger S2 on Hulu Feb 10th

The cast has some actors I like
Thomas Brodie-Sangster (The Queens Gambit, Wolf Hall, Love Actually)as the lead
David Thewlis (Remus Lupin, Fargo S2, Kaos)
Damon Herriman (Dewey Crowe, Mr. Inbetween, nuff said)
The show picks up with Jack Dawkins after Oliver Twist.
The show starts off pretty standard but picks up steam at the end of S1 and only gets stronger with S2. It's a period drama (it's light) set in 1850s Australia, primarily in the colony of Port Victory. It's a fun show and there may be some people here that are fans of period pieces might not have seen/heard of it.
"Jack Dawkins (Thomas Brodie-Sangster) 15 years after Oliver Twist, now a skilled 1850s surgeon whose life is upended by the return of Fagin (David Thewlis). Torn between his professional career, illegal gambling debts, and a romance with Lady Belle Fox (Maia Mitchell), Dawkins navigates a dangerous life of crime, high-stakes, and gruesome surgery. "

This show definitely a guilty pleasure. Lots of fun
