the director managed the rock band Chicago:
quote:
In 1977, Guercio and Chicago parted ways after the band discovered that his contract was paying him 51% of profits, with the other 49% shared between the eight band members. In the CNN biography "Now More Than Ever: The History of Chicago", the group revealed that "millions of dollars" had gone to Guercio while he was their manager. He has also been accused of mismanagement by Chicago, having been found to have pocketed royalty payments for most of the band's tenure

Robert Blake is great and so was Mitchell Ryan. Plot was a little loose and the motorcycle chase scene was not the best. I will never forget the ending though....

The title music is performed in part by Chicago. The tempo is a bit too slow but if sped up it is pretty glorious. The band members also had bit parts in the film.

I remember it being a little odd and intentionally quirky. Almost abstract. Not bad,
but could have been better.
