Is it true the new 10% tariffs will only be in effect for 150 days?

If true, i imagine businesses may potentially cut deals with other countries business knowing there is an expiration date, with little political appetite to renew.
Am I right? Any business/economist types with insight on this?

Yes, but during that time the administration is going to assess the feasibility of implementing more permanent tariffs under other statutory authority.

Gives time for the admin to replace with Section 232 tariff proceedings which require a study prior to enactment. They also stated use of Section 201.
The admin probably has a strategy already mapped out to keep the current tariff structure in place by using a combination of both of these executive powers.
