I’ll bite.

Wouldn’t SCOTUS ruling in favor of trade policy being something we should legislate and commit to sort of validate any arguments against expansion of executive power or dubious invocation of emergency powers?

Legislate? Nahh. Just arbitrarily change the word "tax" to "penalty". Boom. Done.

This is probably why targeted sanctions coming down from the executive were always considered kosher.

It’s more difficult to call it a sanction when it’s just 10% across the board.

One scenario requires a target and rationale. The other is closer to just being an import tax.

You missed my point...it wasn't about the right or wrong of the "why" in this ruling...its about the useful idiot fricksticks out in the streets repeating their cult's favorite mantra that Trump is a "King"...how does one explain the "King" being told to take his tariff toys and go home and look for a new tariff toy?

Where are those brainless parrots now to explain the No Kings ridiculousness.

I agree that No Kings is ridiculous, but they will just say he is going to tariff nobody what anyone says.
