Not a good start in the 2nd game vs. Memphis, losing 1 - 0 in the 2nd. Still early.

What is going on with Jadyn Laneaux? She played all year last year and she was really good in the outfield and a 300 hitter. I don’t think she has been in a game yet this whole year.

Bergeron needs to be removed from the line-up entirely

Don’t understand why she puts her at dp when not catching. Also, Kylie Edwards hits to the left side of infield almost every time. Her fielding started rough but she has settled in at SS better now. Have no idea why she’s not platooned or replaced because of her lack of hitting

This softball team is not good at all. Maci needs to sit period. She is a good defensive catcher but has no plate awareness at all and just looks dis interested. She makes zero adjustments at bat. Last year was lighting in a bottle type season that she had because in the 4 years she has been at LSU, she just appears to be a below average hitter. Unless there are better players on the bench, this team will bow out of a regional again this year.

McKee for one. I’m sure there are others on the bench but this has been Beth in a nutshell her whole career as a coach. She rarely gives bench players a chance. If you tell me that we don’t have a competent backup then this is another example of her being a poor coach. Have never been impressed with her performance as a coach. She’s been the Charley Mac of softball.

The season starts next Friday, need to beat Tennessee 1 game and that will be a win. The difference between this yr and last are Bergeron and Edwards! It’s really that simple

That was after Coffey got hurt....and it didn't go well. 3rd base was rough

It's not just those two. Coffey was a .400 hitter. The three transfers Edwards, Lorenz, and Hutchins have not done the job at all offensively.

However, Lorenz seems to be coming around, but we need the other two to hit around .300 if we will do anything in the SEC. It's going to be very hard to do that with the pitching in the SEC.

I do agree with you that if we can take just 1 game vs. Tenn., it could be the confidence we need to be competitive in the SEC.
