Cordless Pool Cleaner/Vac

Anyone have a cordless pool cleaner they really like and would recommend? My Dolphin’s power supply went out and rather than replacing that, I’d prefer to go cordless— if there’s a good option out there. TIA!

I’m in the same boat, except mine looks like it’s the motor. What kind of Dolphin? You can usually find people selling power supplies for pretty cheap.
Cordless seems the way to go, but requires a little more attention to how it’s used vs just leaving it in for extended periods.

I have the i30. I could just buy one on eBay, I suppose, but I’m over the PITA Dolphin cord. It’s got so much memory and is sticky AF. I’m ready to move to the cordless. I never just leave it in the pool, so that’s not an issue for me.

I got an Aiper S1 about a year ago and been happy with it in our 18k gallon kidney shaped pool.
Battery life is about 160 minutes of run time and you can set it to run 45 minutes on the bottom every other day - so it last about a week that way before you have to pull it out and charge it (4-5 hours).
For better cleans, you just let it go until it completes the entire pool or the battery runs out.
I had a dolphin for years and find it about the same amount of work to maintain the pool.
Jury is still out on longevity of the parts and battery.

I second that on the S1. Great piece of pool equipment

Another vote for the Aiper S1. I did have the charging port crap out on it, but it was replaced under warranty without any issue. Turn around on the repair was about 2 weeks and I was happy with that.

I just had a motor go out on my 2nd dolphin, I looked into switching to cordless but I decided I didn’t want to mess with recharging. I ended up going with a Polaris corded. If you are in BR I will give you my power supply from the dolphin active 20.

Aiper S1
How does it do on the walls and water line? Seems I recall reading some mixed reviews on that front.

I’m leaning toward just moving to the cordless, but I appreciate the offer.

S1
Works great on walls. Moves up to the tiles and cleans those for about 4/5 seconds.

So many people recommending the Aiper S1 but when you look around for reviews there are TONS of negative comments and issues and complaints.
Saw one report where the positive Amazon reviews were graded to be mostly fake as well.
I’m really considering it, but it’s hard to get past all the negatives. Doesn’t seem exclusive to Aiper either (includes Wybot, Beatbot, etc), but also difficult to tell if there’s not a Polaris angle to the reviews either.

Cordless seems the way to go
You guys must have very little leaves dropping. I run my Polaris corded 2-3 times a day when the oak tree next door is dropping. No way a cordless could
Keep up. No issue with cordless at all with daily use as above for a solid year so far.
