Two things:

1. Why in the hell would that be bad (even if it was true)? I mean, I get why it would be bad if I was China, or Russia, but I'm an American. Why would I think that was bad?

2. "You are currently banned from this community and cannot comment on posts."

The world should be celebrating the fact that the US is the global hegemon. All other options would be dystopian.

I am.

Which is why I ask the question. I want to make 'em say it.

This is the correct answer, and I just hope that MAGA learns it's lesson and permanently stops advocating for Jimmy Carter-era foreign policy whenever trump is not the CIC.

You hate to see it.

Nobody's ever seen anything like it.

It’s a matter of perspective.

You and I want America to thrive so it’s great news.

Reddit wants Trump and America to fail so it’s horrible news.

If you’re an ANTIFA member like some percentage of Reddit posters it’s like living in the upside down world.

Everything Trump has done the last 13 months has been to weaken China, namely tariffs and taking out their two biggest oil providers. He's beating them in a cold war that isn't close to getting hot. It's actually brilliant.

ETA: Also is Trump making Americans better off financially than they were before a bad thing?

Correction

The US Oil Industry controls the global oil market.

Having been sent to a country to fight a needless war for the oil industry, I'm not quite sold on the idea that this is a good thing.
