I never understood how this wasn’t a much bigger hit.

Will be seeing them April 3rd.

One of my all time favorite bands.

I was never a big album person, but this one always played all the way through. The one that has lasted the longest with me from it is House For Sale.

An absolute classic. Seen them more live than any other band. Those early 90’s shows in Jacksonville were such a blast.

I’m guessing Laur is still not back? And maybe gone for good? Last time I saw them was December ‘24 in Greenville and they were a three piece. The merch guy made it sound like Laur would be back after the Sturgill tour but I haven’t seen any indication that he is. A shame if he’s gone for good.

I will say though that the last time I saw them with Laur, Kevn was shite-faced. In Greenville though he seemed quite sober. I’d imagine having Laur allowed him to party it up more beforehand knowing he had an amazing player up there with him. Just a guess.

I know when you buy merch from them, it comes directly from Tim Nielson's (bass player) house in the Old Village in Mt Pleasant SC.

Also, my former next door neighbor in Athens was Kevn's bass player for his solo work. Brian Howard.

That's all the inside info I have.

That song is like the anthem of my college life. Never get tired of hearing it.

it appears Sturgill is back for the foreseeable future with a regular touring schedule so that means Laur is back on the road with him as well. Sturgill went out of his way in that letter he wrote last week to say that this is the band he wants to be in, and they plan to tour hard. Also, the two JBS albums have been composed and recorded with the band in the studio.

So that probably means that Joamets’ involvement in drivin and cryin is over for now
