Claimed he used to get $500K gigs.
His Peter Cullen/Optimus Prime is legit one of the best replicas I've heard, though. Claimed he was a SAG cardholder.
Did he actually do it? Who knows,, but he was considered a semi-leftist b/c he hated GW Bush before The Obama admin, then he says he was blackballed.

Highly unlikely. Even above scale, $500k to be the Street Prophet in A Scanner Darkly is ridiculous. He only has 5 credits to his name as an actor and not a one of them is paying more than a couple grand.
He may as well have been down as Additional Voices (which can be exceptionally lucrative over the long haul if you're in the AV cast for a movie that turns out to be huge).
