This is probably the biggest thing to happen in Lebanon since the late 70’s when the country was an international powerhouse. Really a massive shift on so many fronts.

Does this mean that the Muslims have decided to be entrepreneurs instead of jihadists? Will they now choose to compete in the Capitalist Meritocracy Freedom V Theocratic Authoritarian culture war by measure of the prosperity and happiness of their people instead of employing the ‘sword’ to win the competition? Will their children be open to an educated choice and taught to compete and perfect their own character, and cooperate instead of hate their peers who embrace different religious and ideological beliefs? And let the ‘proof be in the pudding’.
