In quite Orwellian language, proponents of the war in Iran are saying that we’re actually ending a 47 year war, by starting this war. Is that in reference to the hostage crisis, when Iranians rose up and overthrew the brutal Shah we installed?

Well first we didn’t install the shah. But yes, that’s what they’re referring to out of some weird attempt to claim the President hasn’t started any “NEW” wars. It’s pretty lame if you ask me. It’s a new war. We started it. And frankly I’m glad we did. It’s long overdue.

Terrorism is a tactic. But call those Muslims from back then who raided our merchant ships and terrorized villages all over Europe for slaves and money whatever you want. The US navy specializes in and was essentially founded to fight Muslims.

So their being Muslim was just random? They weren’t pirating against other Muslims..they were targeting Christians for slave labor..
More Christians were enslaved by Muslim raiders than blacks who were ever captured, enslaved and sent to the US.
