Yeah it's the NYT but this has been talked about for a while
The influencers are a cancer and that bubble needs to bust quickly

If there is a person making an important decision, that person is being lobbied and someone is paying them to lobby - and potentially paying the person making the decision.
This is true at all levels of government in every country in the world in all eras of human existence.

It is. A bigger problem is media being blind ans disinterested when one team is doing something unabashedly and suddenly get interested and must shed light when the opposite team does the same thing.
I agree with transparency. I appreciate the NYT bringing facts, if these reports are true. I despise the fact that their transparency only goes in one direction. In fact, I don't think they should be considered news and should lose their tax exempt status.
