We all know Biceps can be overlooked as the main lifts are what we should be focussing on, and when doing rows, biceps are also worked. But if I want to focus on my shitty biceps, is volume the key? FWIW I can crank out EZBar at 100lbs 6-8 reps for 3 sets, and I control the eccentric. But I'm always throwing in bicep sets at the end of a back day and just wondering if I should just say frick it and next back day just focus on my shitty biceps. I hate being tall.

threads like this make me glad that I'm short. I only do 1 or 2 bicep isolation workouts per week . A lot of pull ups and rows hit mine pretty good.

NEVER be jealous of short guys! Being tall is the one thing they will never be. We can be big and strong like them but they will never be tall like us.

I hit them one day a week for 45 mins. hitting different angels targeting both heads and the brachialis

Have had awesome success

Also the magic potion to big arms are the triceps. After a good chest day I just finish them off with a three set super-set

you don't have to blast them one day a week. biceps usually recover really quickly so you can hit them several times a week. try throwing in a few sets of curls on non back and bi days

Do we? They’re really a simple muscle to train and don’t need a whole lot of volume

I find biceps get plenty of work on pull days and even some on push days.

Didn’t hurt Arnold or Lou Ferrigno. Obviously genetics play a role. I’ve never been one to blast biceps with huge volume even when on PED’s I’ve always done 3 exercises for 3 sets each.

Recently discovered incline bench db curls, I enjoy the hell out of them since I can really feel a pump after 3-4 sets. I am also tall and I feel that my biceps are severely lacking for my size.

That’s always my first exercise on bicep day. It’s a good movement from that stretched out position with arms behind your back. To mix it up, you can do one arm at a time while leaving the other arm in the up position. They’re on fire after four sets

Same. I often see it listed as the “best” bicep exercise. My top 3 are incline db curl (long head), db preacher curl (short head), and hammer curl (brachialis). I only have dumbbells so this seems to suit me the best.

ETA: Also, I’m 6’2”. So I understand those frustrations.

Any of you tried the cross body hammer curl?

Only way I do them with dumbbells.
I also like doing hammer curls on the curl machine by grabbing the arms and not the handles
