Best burger in Destin/FWB area??

Looking for burger recommendations in Destin/FWB area. I prefer a smash burger most days.

Craft Bar makes some solid burgers, but I second the McGuire's rec.

Not that there is anything wrong with getting a burger in Destin/FWB, but why? With the bounty of fish & seafood, and the fact that most people only visit there for a week, or 2, I guess why you are needing a burger?

Seafood in a panhandle beach town is robbery…. Family of4 spends $150 on some garbage, unless you find a local hole in the wall

The Gulf in FWB makes a good burger.....they also make the BEST Fried GROUPER sandwich around

I haven’t had a mcguires burger in a while, their bun last I remember was too big. Mcguires is more the traditional 3/4 lb monster that was a typical pub burger in the early 2000s. Really good, I just don’t think it’s the best.
Chan’s Craft Bar has great burgers. They have a couple options. Monday is burger night, it used to be 1/2 off but I think it’s much less now like $2 off or something.
I had another really good burger recently but for the life of me I can’t remember where.
In regards to a smash burger style, I can’t think of any. That’s more of a fast food or counter service style though.
