wife and i watched last night streaming on starz wife has read a bunch of the books sydney sweeny and amanda seyfried. i can't go into many details other than sweeny is the maid without giving away the plot. it was just a really fun movie and amanda seyfried just turned 40 and looks better than ever.

It was surprisingly good. My wife and I both went in with low expectations but really enjoyed it.

I was kinda bored with it, but Sweeney gets naked so that helps a bit

I said the same thing to my wife when we watched it last week.
It wasn't overly good, but it was enjoyable enough. I do think the twist lowered the quality a little though.

This has become a plague in modern movies. "Sex" scenes where both parties are naked yet somehow almost nothing gets shown.
It's like what's the point? Why even bother to include the scene at all? Its kinda awkward when you put these scenes in there and everyone is so diligent about keeping their bits covered. Kinda distracting and weird

I listened to the audiobook a while back because, and naturally, it's better than the movie, well, except for getting to see Sydney Sweeney nude.
