No explanation of playing big pop up

Unfortunately, there is no mid-season transfer portal.

Look i get it. But first base has a lot of responsibility and maybe as bad as you think Yorke is at 1st base. He might be the best Jay can put out there.

Braun or Brown can easily be a better 1B than Yorke

Yorke gets justified criticism, but we have a bench full of guys not performing. That was a terrible inning by a few guys. We look inept at the plate. All of them. Milam’s bat isn’t that much better than Yorke. Swing and miss at fastballs down the middle of the plate. This just isn’t a good year.

I think braun or brown will be playing 1st come Tuesday

“It’s not the Xs and Os, it’s the Jimmy’s and Joe’s.”
Of the five/six top players that stand on dirt only one is championship caliber.

90% of our runs in sec play come by home runs. Also most of the approach is swing for the fences. Gotta fix that

It could be more that he is a realist and is lowering his EXPECTATIONS for this team. As the old saying goes....... 'you can't win them all'.

yeah he gave up so much he got tossed for blatant terrible umpiring and his team rallied to score 11 runs in extras. I think he’s not given up.

You can criticize all you want, that’s fine, but if you think Jay Johnson is on the 19th green then you are a a crazy person

Wellll this I just flat out wrong. Yorke either strikes out or hits pop ups. Milam is spanking the ball it’s just not finding the holes as much as usual not including his homer. The law of averages means he’s gonna go on an absolute tear eventually which is what he’s done every year
