It seemed to take off when the SEC network launched. It had always been streaming, but that's when I think it started to change.

ESPN has been broadcasting college baseball for a long time. Mostly weekend series.

CST in the late 2000s was great. Caught every LSU game and every Hornets game (back when they were contenders).

Not really.

It wasn't until SEC Network+ became a thing with the launch of the SEC Network.

Mid-late 2000s there would be a few games on nationally, and maybe 1 or 2 games a week (not necessarily LSU games) on regional sports channels.

I remember talking to Lynn Rollins about a couple games that were gonna be on CST with LSU vs Arkansas. He said they had to do 1 game with LSU graphics/music/etc. and 1 game with Arkansas stuff.

When SECNetwork launched, we finally got every game.

Remember the Geaux Zone? It was like $8 a month and you basically got to watch the in house scoreboard feed with the radio call. It was just home games, unless we happened to be playing someone who used the same web server company as LSU.

When ESPN stopped broadcasting the NHL in the early 2000’s. College baseball started to fill more time slots, although it wasn’t near as heavy as it is today with networks like SEC, ACC, and online streaming.
