It seems personal.

Is this the will of the United States?

Is what Trump says a representation of the collective consciousness’s of most stakeholders of this country?

I believe there will actually be more wars portended for the next couple of years, or at least started before his term ends.

Interesting times

Every American suddenly woke up with an overwhelming desire to obliterate a civilization on the other side of the planet.

Was responding to the OP who saw Obama threaten other nations, like this…

I voted for Trump 3x. I’m not saying Kamala was better, but he is absolutely losing support by the hour with this rhetoric from independents like myself.

We don’t wars. This was Israel’s fight. Iran was not our problem.

When Trump was almost assassinated and won in 2024, I thought righteousness and the people won.

This is NOT what we voted for: an Israeli-first lunatic neocon.

Manifest Destiny.

We need to return to our roots. We wasted most of the past century fighting everyone elses wars, paying for their reconstruction, giving them subsidies, and at the expense of what it is best for our own people. We are not equal to other nations, we are better

It's a reference to historical precendent so it is at least relevant to the discussion.

The original poster breathlessly said he had never seen a president threaten other countries before.

The poster you are calling a "dipshit" deftly pointed out that the OP must have been living under a rock up until recently.

Deal with it.

In your opinion, is there any other plausible reason or set of reasons for OEF other than simply Israel?

As a whole, no.

But it does reflect the will of his supporters. My view is that this situation was shaped in large part by the political left.

When the left gained significant political capital they pushed beyond policy. They began trying to influence how people think and behave on a personal level. In many cases, they attempted to enforce those views broadly and without any room for disagreement.

That environment helped create space for Donald Trump to emerge as a figure willing to represent people who felt pushed back on or ignored. Whether he truly shares their concerns or is simply using them does not matter much in practice.

If anything, this may lead the left to reconsider how they engage with the other half of the country the next time they hold power.

That's because you're used to osama obama and sloe joe biden. They gave billions to Iran. Trump gives landscaping design.
