“People keep asking me, ‘Why didn’t you go more Irish?’” McIlroy quipped, per Yahoo. “And I said, ‘Because I want to enjoy the dinner as well.’”
The previous year’s Masters winner has the honor of selecting the the annual Champions Dinner at Augusta National.
The Sun reported that it is the most expensive Masters dinner ever, coming in at $264 a plate.
The Palm Beach Post reports McIlroy’s paid for the dinner.

That seems very reasonable if drinks were included

Yeah, $264 for one of the most exclusive dinners on the planet?
Not a bad deal at all.

For appetizers, Peach and Ricotta Flatbread, Rock Shrimp Tempura, Bacon-Wrapped Dates, and grilled Elk Sliders.
For the first course, Yellowfin Tuna Carpaccio.
The main course includes Wagyu Filet Mignon or Seared Salmon with Traditional Irish Champ, Sauteed Brussels Sprouts, Glazed Carrots with Butter Brown, Crispy Vidalia Onion Rings
For dessert, Sticky Toffee Pudding with Vanilla Ice Cream and Warm Toffee Sauce.
That looks delicious

It’s not a deal. It’s not like buying tickets to something. You’re not invited. That’s just the average price of a single serving.

Well in all fairness, it's typical reporting these days... Doing a story on a story already written... Journalist have to be the laziest mother frickers around.

One should be more proud if their daughter was a stripper than a journalist.

It's al.com. Those fat lazy pieces of shite probably just ran the first story through AI for a summary and copy/pasted.
Which is still more work than I expect from that rag to be fair. You don't hate al.com enough.

Exactly.
I've paid more for much worse food, I'd presume.

She needs to go ahead and show them bad boys. You know she wants to.
She seems a good bit whorish. She'd be all over Onlyfans if it was socially acceptable.

Doubt it as there are reports of the wine choice being 1990 Chateau Rothschild which runs about 1k a bottle

Irish/english food is pretty bland.
Although I do love a good corned beef Sammy.

Did the tip get included? Normally on parties larger than 10, tip is included so the waitresses don't get screwed.

This would be my dinner selection if I was a winner
