How soon do we see a change at the pump?
I just passed one of my traditionally higher gas stations and they just crossed 4 dollars a gallon. And this is in oil country of SELA.

Louisiana crude is still up, so is Canadian. Mars, an almost heavy from an offshore platform/hub is still above $110. Marathon's Garyville refinery LOVES Mars or Venezuelan.
WTI is nothing but a widget, as in a set of specifications. The same goes for Brent. Neither actually exists as real crude oil.
WTI is nothing but an indicator, that is all. It is not actually crude oil at all

It will take a few weeks. Stations buy gas ahead when they think prices will go up. Which many did. So they still have to sell that gas. Their next delivery might be even higher than what they have now. Afterwards it will drop.

Oil prices are dropping like crazy because the big beautiful strait is open and oil is flowing like it never has before.
Trump got the deal done. We can now enjoy even lower gas prices than before soon.

Gas prices are very reactionary to global oil prices. At least they are at the Murphy Express near the house. The minute oil prices drop, the $/gallon drops.
