Clearly, polls for California governor are not shifting enough to get a Dem candidate in first or second place in the jungle primary,
Ergo, Swallowell gets ousted so the other candidates can cannibalize his votes.

I don't think the DemDems did this. I think it was Porter's campaign that exposed all of this and they had been sitting on it for a while now ready for the perfect timing to release

If they can't get this sorted out quick, they gonna need an emergency declaration to buy some time.

Anyone who thought that there would be a republican vs republican contest in Cali is naive. The dems would pass emergency legislation changing the election format if two republicans were the highest vote getters in June. Of course they would not hesitate to stab one of their own in the back.
