Workaholics for me. Silicon Valley is good but doesn't make me LOL like Workaholics does. Very rewatchable too.

Tight butthole.

Workaholics.

It’s also a bit unfair to compare since Workaholics was constrained by Comedy Central on the language they could use and things they could do.

Silicon valley gets my vote. Workaholics has a few memorable moments though.

Workaholics is the superior show.

Silicon Valley was fun for a bit, but the plot was stuck on repeat in a major way.

It was definitely a show where they had zero idea if they would get another season while writing . Every season ended with some kind of wrap-up like "you guys finally did it.. things are about to blow up for you!"

But when characters started getting stale, they were smart enough to elevate people like Jian-yang and Jared/Donald/OJ

The Gavin Belson and Peter Gregory characters were great

I'm in the middle of my first rewatch since Silicon Valley originally aired. The plot repeat isn't as bothersome on a rewatch when you're not waiting a week between episodes.

I had forgotten about a lot of funny scenes or missed them on the first go around because they were subtle.

I don't remember liking Gavin as much the first go around as I do on the rewatch. The acting job I mean, he nailed that role. Too bad the Peter Gregory actor died; I would have loved to see where the show went if he had continued as a character.

Silicon Valley had moments where you knew a punchline was coming, but the joke was so over the top that it was amazing

* SPOILERS *

Richard: "ok guys we completely and successfully pulled off this skunkworks project.. nothing can stop us now!"

You just knew something would go wrong, but:

Jared: "hey dinesh nice chain do you choke your mom with it when you put your penis in her butthole"
