Outlook not accepting password

Outlook keeps telling me I'm putting the wrong password in. I tried the option to have them text and email me a code but it doesn't do either of those. I was able to change my password and log in yesterday but it won't take my new password today. I don't want to have to change passwords every day. Any ideas on fixing this?

LDAP.your company.com might work. Or call your support guy.

Make sure you are entering it correctly each time, there should be an "eye" symbol at the far right of the enter bar

Turn your caps lock key off.
If that doesn't work, quit using microsoft products.

Check your junk text folder. Is this for an Outlook.com account, or something like a Gmail account that you connected to Outlook?

Hotmail technically. The website version and the app version have the same issue. Resetting the password every time I log in seems to work but that's gonna get annoying real quick.

I've been getting several calls over the last month about similar issues, is this a gmail or yahoo account?

If you are using Google, you need to set up an app password. It’s different from your normal password in Google settings. You essentially give Outlook its own password in your Google account.

Do you have multi factor authentication turned on? If not, you may be in a cycle where you reset the password, and an account hijacker turns around and resets it during the day India time, which forces you to have to reset it again, etc.
