My father passed away

My father was a faithful lurker that always got his tiger news from here. He introduced me to the website many years ago, and as it got difficult for him to visit the site I would read him the topics and posts. It always brought a smile to his face. He was a truly wonderful man and an amazing father. I hope I did him proud with his obituary. I'm going to miss him like crazy. Obituary

Sorry about your father. Mine passed back in December, it's certainly never easy, but it sounds like he had a long well-lived 80 years.

I think he threatened to beat my arse one day. He would have done it too, tough old dude.

He was a jack of all trades and later published his book, "Vial 023: A Father's Pursuit of Justice" about his experiences.
That's very touching to me. My Dad has 20k words of his isms that he is working on publishing.... At 80. Some of those guys have a never quit side. I can see that in your Dad. I'm very sorry for your loss.

I’m sorry for your loss.
Or even someone cracking on me, that’s fine too.
Take care.

My condolences on your loss and prayers to you, his family, and his friends.
My Pops passed going on nine years ago, and it is still tough at times. Eventually the good memories and great stories wear away at the pain of grief, smooth its edges a bit, and make it more manageable. It is still there, but the memories shine brighter most of the time.

I’m genuinely enjoying picturing you reading posts to him
Debating top ten lists, describing babe threads.
Lighthearted fun aside- sounds like a heavy loss. Glad you have many great memories.
