The best part about that picture is the return of the alternating shades of grass every 5 yds. Maybe our turf people FINALLY got their shite together?

Ask your friend to take a pic of the new jumbotron. I would rather see that than some college guys stretching on pretty grass. Thanks!

Not really different shades. Just mowed in different alternating directions with a reel mower and roller. The grass lies in alternating directions. That is how bermuda and some others, such a zoysia, have that look. I do that in my backyard with a roller.

Hey dumbass- it has nothing to do with turf guys getting there shite together. Mowing with reel mower makes the grass lay in diff directions and hence the diff designs. FINALLY have a clue before you post

its not the middle of fall when players are constantly trampling on it. Grass is always nicer in the spring and summer than the fall and winter months.... Lets wait till september and october before we decide the grass guys are good.

Details please for all those that give a damn about the turf. Did the LSUAD finally hire a new turf manager or what?
If that hasn't been photoshopped, the field hasn't looked that good in many a year. Now, can they keep it looking that good beyond the second or third home game or after several days of rain, when it usually starts to look bad...
