.........in hit by pitches. Should we do something about that? Can Matt Heath come back and talk to our guys about leaning in and elbow pads?

You guys will bitch about ANYTHING
I guess if we win the CWS, you will be bitching that the margin of victory wasn't big enough, and we should have had more hit by ptiches

I wonder if there is a corelation between that, and number of pitches the average LSU batter faces.
In other words, are they jumping on the ball early and seeing less pitches on average?
Thus, less hit by pitches?

It would be embarrassing if LSU lost 1 game in the 3-game national championship series imho. Skip Bertman never did that.

Maybe we need Tim Jamieson to coach us
MU baseball coaches urge players to let pitch hit them

A great baseball coach ones said "A lead off hit batter always scores a run."
Name that coach...
It does not come true 100% of the time, but I have seen it happen tons more time than not.

Or, our line-up is so intimidating that pitchers predominately pitch AWAY from them and don't dare come inside because they know their shite will get ripped out of the park. Not to mention the possibility of accidentally hitting someone like JMitch or Jones and risk getting charged at the mound. These are college kids, they ain't stupid.

SG, I thought you were smarter than this. Does this look like a serious post? Are you kidding me?

No, it is not a "serious" post. But you are a complete idiot for believing it was.

I just thought this stat was funny. I was looking at secsports.com, and I noticed that we were ranked highly in every offensive category except hit by pitches....phuck, jump into one every once in a while...

Isn't he the guy that started the shite with ULL after rounding third? I think we stopped playing them for a couple of years because of that little incident.

This is a GOOD stat, you doofus... come on man, we lead the conference, we are getting stronger by the game, ALL of our stats are at or near the top... the very freakin' last thing ANYONE wants to do is put another TIGER on base, and piss off the entire TIGER NATION in the process!!!... BRING THEM ON!!!!!!!!!!...

Maybe we should have asked him when he was coaching 3rd base for Auburn this past weekend.

Nnnaaahhhh... it will be something like we did not run through enough hoops and did not smile enough while doing it...

If I'm a hitter on an opposing team I'm telling my Friday night pitcher not to go anywhere near an LSU batter with the ball. Last thing I would want is Ranaudo retaliating.
