Do you want Brett Favre to come back and play for the Vikings this year?

A. Hell no, I wish Brett Favre would fricking die

B. Hell yes, it's hilarious

C. Not really, it's sad that he's tarnishing his legacy

D. Kinda, but only if he decides ASAP and doesn't drag it on like last year

E. Other

I choose B.

I think it's insanely funny to see him either A) ruin his legacy completely or B) lead the Vikes to the NFC North title and get his revenge on Ted Thompson.

As far as I'm concerned this awesome and either way I'll be engrossed.

Today I will choose A. Tomorrow I might be at B and then I might choose C one day but those are the one's I will be feeling.

Favre was good enough to be #2 in the NFL MVP voting in 2007. He was good enough to get the Jets to 8-3 through 11 games and be voted into Pro Bowl in 2008. Then his shoulder injury got to him down the stretch.

I think far too many people are writing him off. If his shoulder continues to bother him, then his productivity will be limited. If it is OK, then he is still a very good QB in the Vikings system.

This is probably unprecedented. I mean the closest possible recent scenario we've had is Johnny Damon signing with the Yankees after being Mister Boston and forever linked with the Red Sox.

But this clearly eclipses even that when you consider the venom that Favre clearly has for the Packers. It will be surreal to see and hear Favre getting booed at Lambeau in a Vikings uniform. It's so completely off the wall that I'm just doubtful that it will really come to pass. It seems like the gods wouldn't allow it or something.

I want to see him sign with a different team every year until he's been on every roster, including any expansion teams that may spring up within the next 30 or so years, and then read his memoirs about how he creatively screwed each franchise.
