I'm at rosenblatt and Anthony just went through about a 20 minute pitching routine and is currently the only Tiger on the field and he is running the warning track from pole to pole like he is gonna pitch or something!!!!

i am certainly no bullpen/rotation expert.... but with ranaudo only going 3 1/3.... and with the importance of the game today... i certainly could see Ranaudo coming in for some middle releif innings to get to Ott so we can secure our Friday game and not a wednesday. His arm can't be that tired... and for the good of the team i would imagine he can come in and pitch 2 or so innings to help make sure we get to the Friday game

That's what I was guessing, just had my wife a little worried that something happened to Louis since she hasn't seen him take the field yet! She worries A LOT!

Strange. But I don't imagine he'll pitch today unless Coleman gets in trouble early.

I'm sure he's available, but there's no way he starts. Even if Coleman was hurt, Ross would probably start.

i dont think he will pitch at all. if coleman gets in trouble, austin ross will come in early imo.

to original poster, these guys need to keep arm loose. they probably do throw everyday. look at the way they are pitching.

What's important is not how many innings he threw, it's how many pitches he threw. Even though he only made it through 3 1/3, he labored quite a bit. I'd be willing to bet he threw 80 pitches in that time. That's too many pitches to throw again on one day's rest, even in short relief.

Negative.

I had a vision. I saw the spirit of Nolan Ryan in his prime invade Louis Coleman's body and take control of his arm. Louis then proceeded to throw 102 mph fastballs straight down the middle on every pitch and fanned every batter. A perfect game. 27 strikeouts.

That is all.

AR was running the warning track to a standing O from the bleachers.

Eibner ran the track to "Tigerbaits"

Coleman is out there now.

in the world series everyone is available all the time.

that being said, he's just getting his work in on the track. He wouldnt be running poles right now if he was a serious candidate to pitch tonight. Never say never though.
